Faisal was originally in Mississauga, Ontario when he began sensing the movement and direction of the Holy Spirit to move west. After taking a trip to Cambridge, Ontario to discover if that was far enough west, he discovered through prayer that God would have him go further west; much further! His journey took him to Lethbridge, Alberta where he received a special media assignment pioneering a television and media ministry. After two years there, Faisal realized that he was being called even further west to continue the ministry where God would divinely position him in Langley, BC.
Faisal has always believed strongly in the words of Isaiah 2:2 that reveal, "the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it.” He recognized the opportunity to reorganize the mission around the local church. Over the course of two years, he began to strategically transition from international engagements to building God’s House in Langley, BC. As a result, the church and training center known as Covenant of Life Ministries (CLM) was launched on Father’s Day in July of 2010. CLM recognizes the privilege of having begun in the city’s highest place of government, the Township of Langley Civic Facility.
We believe God has strategically placed our church in Langley, BC and we have witnessed God’s strategy at work countless times. Over the past 10 years, through prayer and seeking God, our local and online campuses have grown into a stable headquarters for global ministry. While it hasn’t been easy, at times, to pause aspects of international ministry while building the House of God, it has been immensely rewarding.
Together, both our online and local campuses are fulfilling the original mission of bringing life to stories around the world. Covenant of Life is a foundation for ministry and is part of the “highest mountain” from which all spheres of life are impacted. From this place, we seek to give hope through the new and improved Plumbline Network as well as Amazing Muslims and other projects.
