Lesson 11: Angelic Visitations & Open Visions

 The imagery of angels is fascinating to children. They love to discuss them, and may even want to share stories they’ve heard about people who have seen angels. Our lesson is not intended to be a study of angels, but rather of how God uses them to give us messages as one of the ways He speaks to us. But we want to lay a foundation of what the Bible really has to say about them in order to get rid of a lot of myths in the children’s minds. As with other topics, there is far more information on angelic beings than time and space allow in this curriculum, so feel free to research and add more biblical data of your own if time allows.
